Nicolas De Santis
Nicolas De Santis (born Madrid 18 March 1966) is the President & Secretary General of Gold Mercury International, a corporate vision advisory think tank and global governance award organisation founded in 1961. Nicolas De Santis is the son of famous Spanish actress Maria Cuadra and film producer & global branding expert Eduardo De Santis. De Santis was raised from a very young age in the world of show business and of global branding as his father was a partner of San Francisco based global brand firm Landor Associates( now WPP plc Group). As an advisor on strategic visioning and global branding to corporations and governments he has focused his career on the development of foresight tools, developing new strategy and governance frameworks to advance the way corporations anticipate and understand the future in order to make more sustainable decisions.
Corporate Visioning Career
Understanding the lack of practical future foresight tools, De Santis created and registered Corporate Vision in the 1990s as a trademark and new system to develop corporate visioning and more sustainable global brands. The Corporate Vision System framework includes 4 core components: Strategic visioning, Global Branding, Business Model Innovation and Cultural Transformation. With the advent of globalisation, he has more recently created a new framework to understand and frame global complexity called GLOGO – The Global Governance Monitoring System. GLOGO stands for Global governance. GLOGO organises our planet in eight global areas (peace and security, environment, resources, culture, health, international law, science and technology and economic policy). GLOGO includes a governance scale and rating system to determine how decisions will affect future outcomes and sustainability.
