Nicola White (born 20 January 1988 in Oldham) is a British field hockey player. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed for the national team in the women's tournament.[1]
After making her International debut for England in May 2009, Nicola has won silver at the Champions Trophy and bronze medals at the World Cup, Commonwealth, and European competitions. Nicola has also been a regular in Great Britain sides since her debut call-up in 2009, including the squad selected for the 2012 Olympic Games in London where Nicola and her team-mates won the bronze medal.[2]
Nicola was born in Oldham. She began playing Hockey at the age of 7 at school and started her club hockey at Saddleworth HC and is now currently playing for Leicester Ladies HC in the Premier Division. In addition to her sporting accolades, Nicola completed her Sports Science Degree at Loughborough College in 2013. Nicola is sponsored by Grays International.
