Nicolás Ignacio Castillo Mora (Spanish pronunciation: [nikoˈlas kasˈtiλo], born 14 February 1993) is a Chilean footballer who plays as a striker for Club Brugge.

Early life

Castillo was born at February 14, 1993 at Santiago, Región Metropolitana, and raised in Renca, a lower–class commune in the capital.[1] Since a young age, Nicolás was involved in "RencaUC", a barra brava of Chile's powerhouse Universidad Católica,[1] joining then to the youth ranks of that club at twelve.[1][2]

Career

Castillo made his debut for Universidad Católica on the 10 April 2011 in the 2-0 Primera División win over Cobreloa, coming on as a 84th minute substitute.[3]

International career

Castillo made his debut for Chile on 23 March 2013 in the 1-0 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (CONMEBOL) loss to Peru, coming on as a 70th minute substitute.[4]
