The reigning champions are Donegal, who beat Roscommon 3-20 to 3-16 in the final.
The winners of the Nicky Rackard trophy promote to the following year's Christy Ring Cup competition, the second of the four tiers. The cup and competition are named after Nicky Rackard, a famed hurler from Wexford and a member of a famous hurling family.
