Nicholas Anderson (1865–1921) was an English professional footballer, who appeared for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the inaugural season of the Football League.

Anderson played in Wolves' first ever Football League fixture, a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on 8 September 1888. He played the following game, a loss to Preston North End, but never featured in the first team afterward. He was released in May 1889.
