Nick Acevedo (born October 23, 1974) is a professional boxer. He has won the IBA Intercontinental Welterweight title.
Acevedo became a professional boxer at age 19, and amassed a near-perfect 15–1–0 record in 17 fights (one bout was ruled a No contest due to Acevedo receiving an accidental headbutt in the 1st round that rendered him unfit to continue due to cuts) before retiring in 2003. He decided to make a comeback on the ESPN reality show "Contender Season 2", where he was a member of the Blue Team. He won his first bout on the show, a unanimous decision over Jeff Fraza, but lost in the quarterfinals to Steve Forbes.
