Niamh McGrady is an Irish film, stage and television actress from Castlewellan, Northern Ireland.

Early life and education

She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Career

McGrady featured in a production of the Shakespeare play Macbeth, starring Patrick Stewart, which had a critically acclaimed run in both London's West End and also on Broadway (2008) in New York City, New York.

She appears in the medical drama television series Holby City as nurse Mary-Claire Carter. Initially she only appeared as a recurring character, but in 2013 she joined the central cast of the show.

McGrady is starring in the crime drama television series The Fall, based in Northern Ireland, alongside Gillian Anderson and Northern Irish actor and model Jamie Dornan.

She has also appeared in many short independent films though many roles are uncredited.
