Nia Sharma is an Indian television actor.

She made her television debut as Anu, the best friend of the protagonist Rachana in Kaali. After the death of Rachana her character took over as the lead of the show, to defeat the main antagonist, and killer of Rachana, Thakral (Ashutosh Rana).[2][3] Her next television appearance was as Nisha, the daughter of Jay (Akshay Anand), in Star Plus's Behenein. She was also seen in the reality show of the channel V's The Player. After Behenein, Sharma went on to portray Maanvi, one of the protagonists in the Cinevistaas production Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. She was listed in fifth place on the Sexiest Asian Women List by Asjad Nazir of British newspaper Eastern Eye.[4]

After Behenein, Sharma portrayed Maanvi, one of the protagonists in the Cinevistaas production Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,[5] who suffers from leukaemia.[6] She plays a childlike young adult, causing problems for her older sister.[7][8] For this role she required training from an audiologist in order to complete a sequence in the show where she helps correct a stammer.[9]
