Ni Min-jan (Chinese: 倪敏然; pinyin: Ní Mǐnrán; 30 April 1946 – April 2005) was a Taiwanese actor and comedian.
His alleged affair with actress and singer Xia Yi was the apparent cause of his suicide by hanging, at age 58 or 59, in April 2005,[1] and after many newspapers and news channels reported the suicide with great coverage, the suicide rate grew higher.
Ni was friends with singer and television personality Chang Fei and singer Frankie Kao.
