"Next Best Superstar" is a song by British singer-songwriter, Melanie C. It was released in 4 April 2005 as the first single from Melanie C's third solo album, Beautiful Intentions. It was also the first single that Melanie C released where she didn't have a writing credit, as this song was solely penned by Adam Argyle. "Next Best Superstar" peaked at number-ten in the UK Singles Chart and went on to sell approximately 20,000 copies.
Music video
The video was directed by Ray Kay. The video begins with Melanie C getting ready for her performance. After having done make-up, she starts performing by herself. After the performance, she gets her make-up done again and starts performing again, this time with her band.
