Newton Russell

Newton Russell (June 25, 1927 – May 18, 2013) was an American businessman and politician.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Russell served in the United States Navy during World War II. He then graduated from University of Southern California and was in the insurance business. He served in the California State Assembly 1964-1972 as a Republican and then in the California State Assembly 1972-1992. He died in La Cañada Flintridge, California.[1][2]
