New Serbia (Serbian: Нова Србија / Nova Srbija) is a political party in Serbia. It was created in 1998 by a number of dissidents from the Serbian Renewal Movement. New Serbia has been led by Velimir Ilić since its founding.

History

New Serbia was part of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia bloc which defeated President Slobodan Milošević in 2000. would be ousted, New Serbia was part of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia, and won 8 seats in the National Assembly.

The party took part in the 2003 legislative elections in coalition with the Serbian Renewal Movement. The coalition won 7.7% of the popular vote and 22 seats; 9 of seats were allocated to New Serbia.

New Serbia ran in the 2007 election in coaltion with the Democratic Party of Serbia of Prime Minister Vojislav Koštunica. The coalition received 47 seats in parliament, 10 of which went to New Serbia.
