New Home Star is a national service provider to home developers, builders, and mortgage lenders based in Chicago, Illinois.

Company history

The company was founded in 2007 in Chicago and is run by President and founder David Rice.[1][2] In 2011 New Home Star opened a second office in Denver, Colorado[3] and began licensing to franchisees in 2012. At that time New Home Star served the markets of Chicago; Charlotte, North Carolina; Richmond, Virginia; Tidewater, Virginia; Orlando, Florida; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Denver; Greenville, South Carolina; Seattle; Portland, Oregon; Calgary, Alberta and Edmonton, Alberta. New Home Star's first franchise agreement was with Windermere Real Estate for the regions of Washington state, Oregon, and Northern California.[4]

Homebuilder services

New Home Star provides sales services for home builders,[5] including "new residential construction for builders, developers and financial institutions" according to Dave Rank of Chicago Agent Magazine. New Home Star's projects include the early planning of new developments and the closing out sales of developments entering their final stages. One of their methods for doing this is to try to increase the traffic of potential buyers to homes for sale and to refine the point-of-sale In process.[6] This is done through the provision and management of outsourced sales teams and training for in-house sales associates. This includes training in marketing as well as home-selling.[7] The company's associates use a common online platform that provides guidance for best practices and networking between regions.[4]
