Nevill Holt Opera
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nevill Holt Opera is an arts festival at the end of June and beginning of July that is held at the home of Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross, Nevill Holt Hall in Leicestershire.
The annual event features a headline opera production as well as an open air exhibition of contemporary British sculpture featuring artists such as Marc Quinn, Allen Jones and Peter Randall-Page.
Having been host to Grange Park Opera since 2002, 2013 will be the first year of independent production at Nevill Holt. Artistic Director Nicholas Chalmers will lead a team including Oliver Mears and Simon Lima Holdsworth (Second Movement Opera and NI Opera) in a production of Mozart's The Magic Flute.
