Nevill Hall Hospital is a district general hospital in Abergavenny, north Monmouthshire, Wales, United Kingdom.
It was officially opened in April 1970, the new buildings replacing the older Victorian built converted mansion, which has since been used as office accommodation and still remains at the rear of the modern complex. The hospital provides in-patient, daycare and outpatient services together with a complete range of investigations. The hospital is a designated major trauma centre with an Accident and Emergency department. The A&E department has recently been extensively refurbished though not greatly expanded. Its catchment area extends to the south into the south Wales valleys, west into Powys and north to the Hereford and Gloucestershire borders.
There is also a new Post-Graduate Medical Centre on site (opened January 2002) which hosts multi-disciplinary training in a range of specialties as well as providing specific teaching for doctors and other health professionals in training.
The hospital also operates a 24 hour radio service known as "NHSound" for patients in Nevill Hall as well as the wider hospital community of Abergavenny on 1287 mW. It is entirely run by volunteers and has been running since 1979.
