The Rough knob-tailed gecko, (Nephrurus amyae), is the largest gecko in the Nephrurus genus. As with all Nephrurus being endemic to Australia, Nephrurus amyae is found primarily in the central portion of the country. They generally have a brown to reddish color and a small tail with knob on the end.
