Neomysis integer is a species of opossum shrimp found in shallow marine bays of Europe, with a transparent greenish or brown body and a large cephalothorax.[2] These opossum shrimp are frequently found in large numbers and filter small food particles out of the water, occasionally consuming larger prey. Opossum shrimps are themselves often consumed by fishes.[2] The females have a brood pouch in which eggs and larvae develop.[2]
