Nelson De Freitas
Nelson De Freitas is a British voice actor who provides the speaking voice of 2D, member of the virtual band, Gorillaz (while Damon Albarn is the bandmate's singing voice).
De Freitas is featured as 2D in such clips as "The Eel" and Phase Two: Slowboat to Hades (a Gorillaz compilation DVD); he will also be included in a 2007 presentation. [citation needed]
Since 1993, the de Freitas family [Nelson, Rennae, Troy (20), Alexander (17), Nicolas (12), and Marcus (10)] has served in the Dominican Republic. Their ministry has included work with the National Sunday School department, church construction, compassion ministries, Bible School, missions, as well as teaching and preaching. However, their main passion and focus is reaching youth and children through the ministry of King’s Castle. King’s Castle is forming disciples with a missionary vision to reach children and youth to the Lord.
