Neil Newbon (born 14 August 1978), is an English actor.
Biography
Newbon was born in Birmingham, England, the son of ITV sportscaster Gary Newbon. His family was originally from Scotland on his mother Katie's side, and Belarus on his father's side. His twin brother Lawrence also works in the film and television industry as a cameraman.[1]
Professional career
Newbon has appeared in numerous films. He recently played the voice role of the Zeppelin Captain in Jackboots on Whitehall, starring Ewan McGregor. In 2006, he starred in the music video for "You Got the Love" (Now Voyager Mix) by The Source and Candi Staton. In early 2009, he starred in the music video for "Kingdom of Rust" by Manchester-based indie rock group Doves.[2] In 2012, Newbon joined the cast of Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks playing the role of Walker.[3]
