Neil A. Holding (born (1960-12-15) 15 December 1960) is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s, '80s and '90s, and coach of the 1990s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, England and Lancashire, and at club level for St. Helens and Rochdale Hornets, as a Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 6, or 7, and coaching at club level for Rochdale Hornets, Oldham and Bradford Northern.

International honours

Neil Holding won a cap for England while at St. Helens in 1980 against Wales,[1] and won caps for Great Britain while at St. Helens in 1984 against Australia (3 matches) and New Zealand.[2]

Neil Holding is a St Helens Hall of Fame inductee.[3]
