Nehomar Cermeño (born November 17, 1979 in Barcelona, Anzoátegui) is a professional boxer from Venezuela. He is the former interim WBA Bantamweight Champion. He is the Current interim WBA Super Bantamweight Champion. Cermeno represented his native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

Professional career

Cermeno turned professional on November 13, 2004. In 2009, he scored a major upset by defeating Cristian Mijares and later beat Mijares in a rematch. In 2010 Cermeno lost to Anselmo Moreno and lost again in a rematch.
