Ndenderu is a small town estate in the outskirts of Nairobi. It is known for college students and self-help groups of urban youth. It has an economy driven by agriculture and export of culture. Young people in the area participate in creation of employment through exportation of paintings, carvings and professionally made African musical instruments like the darama (Kikuyu drum) and nyatiti. In terms of social gatherings, Ndenderu is well known for its beautiful women and throbbing night clubs, as well as its hospitable people. |
