Naxibacter varians is a gram negative, non-motile rod-shaped non-spore-forming and oxidase positive bacteria from the Oxalobacteraceae family which was isolated from clinical specimens and water samples.[3][4]
Etymology
N. varians comes from the Latin adjective varians because biochemical tests have shown variable results.[5]
