Nawrahta Minye (Burmese: နော်ရထာ မင်းရဲ, pronounced: [nɔ̀jətʰà mɪ́ɴjɛ́]; 1319–1350) was king of Sagaing from 1348 to 1350.[2] He was a middle son of King Sawyun, the founder of the kingdom. The chronicle Hmannan Yazawin says that he reigned for about 7 months in 1349/1350 (711 ME).[3] But inscriptional evidence shows he reigned from 1348 to 1350.[2]

Notes

  1. Zatadawbon Yazawin (Zata 1960: 71) says he was born on Tuesday, 10th day of 8th month of 688 ME. But Hmannan Yazawin (Hmannan Vol. 1 2003: 391) says he was born on a Wednesday, and suggests he was born in 681 ME.
