Navyug Express

The Navyug express or the "New-Era" Express is a weekly train running between Jammu Tawi and Mangalore Central. This train takes about 67 hrs for the distance of 3609 km.

Route

This train travels via Calicut, Shornur Junction, Palakkad Junction, Coimbatore Junction, Katpadi, Gudur, Vijayawada, Nagpur, Itarsi Junction, Bhopal Junction, Jhansi Junction, Gwalior, Agra and New Delhi to reach Jammu Tawi. Coaches from Tirunelveli are attached to this train at Erode. This is the third longest train train in terms of distance in India. It travels trough the most of the states in India. It passes trough 12 states as Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi,UP., MP, Rajasthan, Maharastra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
