Naveen Tewari, 35, is the founder and CEO of InMobi, the world’s largest independent mobile advertising network.[1] InMobi provides advertisers, developers, and publishers with a uniquely global mobile advertising solution. It has nearly 691 million unique monthly users across 165 countries. The company is headquartered in Singapore.

InMobi, which more than doubled its network in the first 6 months of 2010, delivers the unprecedented ability to reach 691 million consumers in over 165 countries. InMobi is venture-backed with marquee investors including: Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers and Sherpalo Ventures. The company has offices in London, San Francisco, Bangalore, New York, Tokyo, Mumbai, Beijing, Chicago, Dubai, Hamburg, Paris, Malaysia, Seoul, Australia, Taiwan and Singapore.[2]
Education
Naveen Tewari graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT) in 2000 with a BA in Technology.
In November 2013 he was awarded a Distinguished Alumnus Award for an excellence in entrepreneurship.[3]
Naveen Tewari has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (HBS). At HBS, Naveen was the recipient of the "Dean's Award", the highest honor for his exceptional leadership and contribution.
Work History
Naveen Tewari organized the HBS/India trip during 2004-2005 and educated more than 100 HBS students about India's economic potential, its people, and its culture during their India trip .[4] Naveen's journey started with McKinsey & Company where he worked on developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian <conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector.
He has also worked with the top management of technology companies on various issues. Later, he joined Charles River Ventures (CRV), a top tier VC firm focusing on early stage investing in software and communications. Naveen worked with CRV on developing its India investment strategy. He also worked briefly with a mobile VoIP startup in Silicon Valley. Naveen Tewari founded SMS-based search service mKhoj in 2007 before pivoting its business model to the emerging field of mobile-device advertising, Renamed InMobi in 2009.
