Natriuretic peptide

Natriuretic peptide refers to a peptide which induces natriuresis (the discharge of sodium through urine).
Types include:
- Atrial natriuretic peptide: atria
- Brain natriuretic peptide: ventricles in humans, brains in pigs
- C-type natriuretic peptide
- Dendroaspis natriuretic peptide
