National Condom Day
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
National Condom Day is an internationally observed day,[1][2][3] to build awareness about the use of the condom, a common contraceptive in safe sex practices, to prevent sexually transmitted diseases including the prevention of transmission of HIV, the virus that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
It is held February 14 as part of National Condom Week, to coincide with Valentine's day, which is widely considered one of the most romantic holidays.[4]
