Nathawat

Nathawat is a sub-clan of Kachwaha Rajputs of Suryavanshi lineage included in Bara Kothri. They are the off springs of great Rajput Warrior Rao Natha Ji of Amber. For an easy understanding Nathawats are also from the same Rajput Vansh from where the Rajawat, Shekhawat, Naruka, Sheobrahmpota, Khangarot, Kumbhani & Jasrotias belongs. Hence they do not inter marry with each other. The main Thikanas of Nathawat clan are near by Jaipur City. Chomu, Samode, Kalwada, Mundota, Morija are few prominent Thikanas of Nathawat Rajput clan.
