Nasirnagar (Bengali: নাসিরনগর) is an Upazila of Brahmanbaria District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Geography

Nasirnagar is located at 24°12′25″N 91°12′35″E / 24.2070°N 91.2097°E / 24.2070; 91.2097 . It has 40917 units of house hold and total area 311.66 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Nasirnagar has a population of 234090. Males constitute 50.45% of the population, and females 49.55%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 114601. Nasirnagar has an average literacy rate of 19.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
