Naroo

The Naroo (also spelled Naru) is a Rajput tribe, found in Punjab, Pakistan. The Naru were the most widespread of the hill Rajputs. Naroo Belong to Suryavansha- the Solar clan especially associated with Rama (the King of Ayodhya). Traditionally, in the plains of Punjab, most of the Rajput clans had converted to Islam.
Like other Muslim Rajputs, they migrated to Pakistan after partition.
Culture and religion
To maintain a common bloodline, many Naroo Rajputs do not marry outside their tribe.

- Raja Nipal Chand Naru: Founder of Naru clan and great warrior.
- Raja Rai Rattan Pal: Capture the Phillaur fort and great Naru Rajput warrior.
- Rana Sihra: Naru Rajput ruler.
