Naoetsu Station

Naoetsu Station (直江津駅 Naoetsu-eki) is a railway station in Joetsu, Niigata, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and West Japan Railway Company (JR West).
Lines
Naoetsu Station is served by the JR East Shinetsu Main Line, by the JR West Hokuriku Main Line, and the Hokuetsu Express Hokuhoku Line.

History
- August 15, 1886 - Naoetsu Station opens.
- 1898 - It is moved to the present location.
- April 7, 2000 - The present station building is completed.
- December 1, 2005 - Automatic ticket gates are introduced.
