Nandigama is a town and Nagar Panchayat in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. The town has a population of 37,567. The town is known for its numerous temples.
Geography
Nandigama is located 49 km north of Vijayawada and 46 km east of Kodada. The river Muniyeru flows in the outer part of the city. Nandigama has four seasons; Summer is the longest extending from March to July. Temperatures reach 49 degrees in mid May.

Nandigama has APSRTC(state transport)bus station well connected to many major cities in A.P.The NH9 (NH65 Now) which connects Hyderabad and Vijayawada passes through Nandigama. The city is well connected to Vijaywada. Nandigama is about 220 km from Hyderabad and Vijayawada is 49 km away. It is connected to river krishna which is 15 km away at gudimetla ramannapeta village. On crossing the river at this village one can reach guntur district. Small and large vehicles can also cross the river krishna here through ballakatu (wooden carrier) located at gudimetla village. Sattenepalli town is 35 km (total comes to 50 km from nandigama) on the other side of the river, thus cutting short a distance of 70 km (which is 120 km through vijayawada) to reach there and many people choose this route. Chandarlapadu mandal is 16 km from nandigama. Jaggayapeta town is 25 km from nandigama where number of cement and paper industries are present. Madhira (which has railway station) is 19 km to nandigama. Penuganchiprolu, a piligrimage temple site of Tiruptammavaru is located 20 km away from nandigama.

Attractions
Muneru River, a Tributary of Krishna River flows in this region. Silvagiri a place which is near Nandigama attracts people around the area with its beautiful natural scenic spots.
