Namti is a village in Mogaung Township in Mohnyin District in the Kachin State of north-eastern Burma.[1]

Namti, also '"Nammati"' is 6 miles far away from Mogaung and 25 miles far away from Myitkyina.

The main ethnic groups living in the town are Kachin, Shan, Khamti, and Bamar. There are also some Chinese and Indians living together with the ethnics.

The population is approximately 100,000 and Most villagers are '"farmers"'.
