Namli is a town and a nagar panchayat in Ratlam district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Geography
Namli is located at 23°26′N 75°03′E / 23.43°N 75.05°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 490 metres (1607 feet).
Namli is surrounded by small rock area in north and green fields in all other directions. Its 14KM north from Ratlam. Namli has no river and hence most of the time, water supply for humans and farming is made available through well.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Namli had a population of 8475. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Namli has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 53%. In Namli, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
