Nag Champa is an Indian fragrance containing frangipani and sandalwood. It may be used in incense, soap, perfume oil, essential oils, candles and personal toiletries, and is common in ashrams.

Composition and properties

Nag Champa contains a large proportion of sandalwood and the frangipani fragrance, which comes from the champa (or plumeria) flower.

It's specific fragrance is very powerful and can be overwhelming in confined spaces. Anecdotal evidence supports the idea that it can even overpower the smell of smoked tobacco usage.
