Nadir Haroub Ali (born 10 February 1982 in Michenzani, Zanzibar) is a Tanzanian footballer who plays club football for Young Africans FC. Nadir Haroub Ali has the nickname 'Cannavaro', with reference to the way he plays the game as a defender similar to Fabio Cannavaro.[1]

Career

On 13 August 2009 left Young Africans FC of the Tanzanian Premier League[2] who played from 2006 to 2009 on loan to Vancouver Whitecaps Residency,[3] formerly played one season in the Zanzibar Premier League.[4]

International career

Haroub is also member of the Tanzania national football team[5] and played 6 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches,[6] formerly played for the Zanzibar national football team.[7]
