Nadia Shirin Moffett (born 1986) is an American beauty queen who is best known for winning the title of Miss North Carolina USA 2010 and competing in the nationally televised Miss USA 2010 beauty pageant.

Biography

Nadia Moffett was born to Jonathan and Jaleh Estes. She has two younger brothers, Jordan and Gabriel and a sister, Tahirih. In 2007, she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and minor in Information Technology. She began her career at a leadership path program for American Express Company, developing and engaging employees in career and performance development. In 2008, she established Make Me A Queen Foundation, an organizations helping young women.

She is currently the Vice President of Public Relations for Toastmasters International at American Express, and often competes in public speaking competitions. She is an active supporter and volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement in Greensboro working with middle school students on Economics for Success.[1]

Miss North Carolina USA 2010

Moffett competed in the Miss North Carolina USA 2010 pageant in November 2009 and eventually taking the crown. She was crowned by Kristen Dalton Miss USA 2009 from North Carolina.

Miss USA

Moffett represented the state of North Carolina in the national televised Miss USA 2010 pageant but she was unplaced. Rima Fakih of Michigan won the pageant and was crowned by outgoing titleholder Kristen Dalton Miss USA 2009.
