NTUC Income

NTUC Income is a life and general insurance company based in Singapore. It is one of the "Big Three" insurers with a significant share of the local motor insurance market.[1] Its current Chief Executive Officer is Tan Suee Chieh, who took over from Tan Kin Lian in February 2007.[2]

Overview

NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Limited was established in 1970 in response to the growing need for affordable insurance for Singaporean workers.

Today, it is the only insurance co-operative in Singapore.

With a modest capital of $1.2 million, NTUC Income has become Singapore's leading composite insurer offering life, health, general insurance and investment-linked products with total assets of about S$20 billion as at end of 2008.

To date, NTUC Income currently has about 2 million customers from all strata of society.
