Mycielin [mɨˈt͡ɕelin] (German: Metschlau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Niegosławice, within Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) east of Żagań and 37 km (23 mi) south of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has an approximate population of 430.
