Princess Myat Phaya (Burmese: မြတ်ဖုရား; 7 March 1886 - 21 July 1962), born in Ratnagiri, was a daughter of the last ruling king of Burma, King Thibaw. She married her first husband, Kodaw Gyi Naing (died at Rangoon, 22 October 1954 or 11 November 1954), a grandson of Mindat Min in 1922 and divorced him in 1929. She married her second husband, U Mya U (who died during the Japanese occupation), a lawyer.
Her second son Taw Phaya succeeded her older sister Myat Paya Lat as head of the royal household in 1956. She died at Maymyo on 21 July 1962.[1]
