Mwinilunga District is a district of Zambia, located in Northwestern Province. The capital lies at Mwinilunga. As of the 2000 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 117,505 people.[1]
The Zambezi has its source in this district, near to the community of Kalene Hill, before flowing southwestward into Angola.[2]
