Musawengosi Mguni (born April 8, 1983 in Harare) is a Zimbabwean football player who last played for FC Metalurh Donetsk as a striker.
Career
Mguni played for 3½ years in Cyprus for Omonia Nicosia. He scored 28 goals in 66 league appearances. With Omonia he won the 2005 Cypriot Cup. In the Cup final, Mguni opened the score against Digenis Morphou with a clever header after a Costas Kaiafas free kick. On the 5 June 2008, he signed for Al-Shabab, the United Arab Emirates League Champions in a deal worth €1.5 million.,[1][2] Mnguni left Al-Shabab on 17 June 2009 and signed with Metalurh Donetsk.[3] He scored in his first game for Metalurg on 16 July 2009 in a Europa League encounter against FC MTZ-RIPO Minsk.
