MultiCare Health System is a not-for-profit health care organization based in Tacoma, Washington. Founded in 1882, MultiCare is the largest provider of health care services in the city of Tacoma, as well as Pierce County, Kitsap County, Thurston County, and southern King County.[1] MultiCare provides health care services at 93 locations throughout the South Puget Sound area.[1] It operates five hospitals in the South Sound region including: Tacoma General Hospital, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, Auburn Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA.[1]
