Chaghtai Khanate interaction with Khawajas
Khoja Ishaq journeyed to Tarim Basin with his disciples, and after several years he established Ishaqiyya in the Kashgar region. Ishaq made Muhammad Sultan his disciple. ( Muhammad was the ruler who arranged Bento de Goes' Carvan to the border of the China). Before his death Ishaq even named Muhammad Sultan the Naqshbandi grand master-Ishaq's spiritual successor-thus assuring the Ishaqiyya's continued status in the region.[1]
