Muamer Tufekčić (born July 15, 1986) is a Bosnian kickboxer signed to the Romanian kickboxing promotion, SuperKombat. Also a boxer, he is fighting out of Vienna, Austria.[1]

Career

In 2013, Tufekčić entered the SuperKombat World Grand Prix circuit after winning a qualification bout in the SuperKombat New Heroes: World Tour of the same year.[2][3][4] Finally, he was the first heavyweight to qualify for SuperKombat World Grand Prix 2013 Final Elimination by winning over both Corrie Robbins, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik at the SuperKombat World Grand Prix I 2013.[5][6][7]

He faced Frank Muñoz on SuperKombat World Grand Prix 2013 Final Elimination in quarter finals. In second round Muñoz sent a low blow and referee counted to Tufekčić, at the end of the round he was also deducted a point for clinching. In third round Muamer scored a knockdown but could not finnish the fight and lost by judges split decision.[8][9][10][11]

He beat Martin Hauser by unanimous decision at Vendetta VIII in Vienna, Austria on November 23, 2013.[12]
