Mount Zirkel, elevation 12,182 ft (3,713 m), is the highest summit of the Park Range in northern Colorado. The mountain in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness of Routt National Forest northeast of Steamboat Springs was named after German geologist Ferdinand Zirkel.[1]
