Mount Kadam,lies near the east border of Karamoja, Uganda with Kenya and has an approximate elevation of 3,063 metres (10,049 ft). It lies just north of Mount Elgon. It is inhabited by the remnants of the Kadam people.[citation needed] During the colonial period Mount Kadam was known as Debasien. [2]
