Moses Adeshina Ayoola Junior Odubajo (born 28 July 1993) is an English professional footballer, currently playing as a midfielder for Leyton Orient. He was born in Greenwich, London.
Career
After playing in the youth team and reserves at Orient, Odubajo was called up to the senior squad to cover for injuries on 17 September 2010. After one match against Notts County as an unused substitute, he went on work experience to St Albans City on 8 October.[2] After two appearances in FA Cup matches against Kingstonian, Odubajo made his league debut against Weston-super-Mare on 16 October.[3]
Having scored three goals in 23 appearances for the Orient youth team during the 2010–11 season, Odubajo was given a one-year professional contract with the club on 29 April 2011.[4] After several appearances on the bench, he made his senior debut on 7 September 2011 as a substitute in the Football League Trophy match against Dagenham & Redbridge. After 90 minutes the score was 1–1, and Odubajo scored a penalty in the resulting shootout, which Orient lost 14–13.[5] He made his league debut as a substitute on 17 September in the 3–1 defeat at home to Oldham Athletic.[6] On 13 January he joined Sutton United on a month's loan.[7]
On 25 February, Odubajo joined Bishop's Stortford on loan,[8] and scored a hat-trick in their 5–0 thrashing of Droylsden on 3 March.[9] However, he was subsequently injured[10] and was unable to play for the club again.
On his return to Orient, he made his first start for the club in the final game of the season at home to Rochdale. He scored his first league goal and Orient's second of the day, shooting from 25 yards in their 2–1 win.[11] This strike earned him the club's "goal of the season" award.[citation needed] On 25 June 2012, Odubajo signed a one year deal with club.[12]
