Morgan Lily (born Morgan Lily Gross on April 11, 2000) is an American actress and fashion model. She started modeling internationally at four years old and appeared in more than 21 television commercials, and many photo shoots before her role in Henry Poole Is Here as Millie Stupek. Lily had supporting roles in He's Just Not That Into You, as Matthew Gray Gubler's daughter in Pornstar. Her most notable role has been as Lilly Curtis in the apocalyptic film 2012.[1] She acted as young Julianna Baker in the film Flipped based on the novel with the same name[2] by Wendelin van Draanen and as young Mystique in X-Men: First Class.[3] Morgan recently co-starred as Missy in the Hallmark Channel's film, Love's Everlasting Courage. Her most recent work includes Cooties (film), with Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson.
Personal life
Lily was born Morgan Lily Gross in Santa Monica, California, and is a middle child of four. She has an older brother, Jordan David, who is also an actor; a younger sister, Riley Jane, who is a child model ; and a baby sister, Audrey Lynn. She is the daughter of April, a homemaker, and Andy Gross, a ventriloquist and magician. Her father owns his own company called LA Magic & Toy and MindBoggling The Show and travels doing illusion shows and stand up comedy. He has performed as a magician at the world famous Magic Castle. Lily also enjoys being a ventriloquist and a magician and has been seen at the Magic Castle in Hollywood several times. While her passion is acting, she is also an Honor Roll student. Her family places a great emphasis on education.
Career
Morgan began her acting career at an early age, her beginnings include in the 2005 drama film Shards where she played Morgan, and in a TV movie, Welcome to the Jungle Gym (2006) where she played Kylie. On 2007, she guest starred in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Chloe, which led her more opportunities such as a co-starring role at only 7 years old, her first theatrical film Henry Poole Is Here she portrayed Millie Stupek. Morgan's most notable role so far has been in the 2009 disaster film 2012 as Lilly Curtis alongside young actor Liam James. Morgan's current projects up-to-date include Love's Everlasting Courage alongside high-profile actors Wes Brown and Cheryl Ladd and X-Men: First Class as Young Raven (10 yr. Old). Cooties (film), Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson and Allison Pill.
